Climate:
Paris in September experiences a gentle shift from summer warmth to early autumn coolness, making it one of the most pleasant months to visit the city. Here's a more detailed overview of what to expect:
- Temperature: Average daytime highs range from 20°C to 23°C (68°F to 73°F), while evenings and early mornings can dip to 12°C to 14°C (54°F to 57°F). A light jacket or sweater is usually enough for comfort.
- Rainfall: Rain is relatively moderate, with around 40-50 mm (1.6-2 inches) of precipitation over the month, typically spread across 8–10 days. Showers are often brief, but carrying an umbrella is wise.
- Sunshine: Paris enjoys around 5–6 hours of sunshine per day in September, with a mix of sunny and partly cloudy days.
Overall, September is a beautiful time to explore Paris—mild weather, fewer crowds than summer, and the first hints of autumn in the city's parks and streets.
